Pictures That Make Me Smile





I am still soooooooo happy that KG is finally a champ. Watching the post-game when Michelle Tafoya is trying to interview him and he could hardly speak, it was amazing. I am so happy to see Big Ticket all grown up and that the 12 years he put in at MN weren't for nothing, and that good things come to those who wait. I've not a bandwagon jumper, I won't claim that the Celtics are my favorite team, because they're not. Despite seasons of mediocrity and sub-mediocrity, the Timberwolves are my team and always will be. I am, however, loyal to KG after having watched him try to do it all on his own season after season because we never could get the players we needed to help him get a championship. But when choosing between a team that employs my favorite player of all time (behind MJ of course) and a team who employs a player that I hold an incredibly high disdain for (that's Kobe if you couldn't figure it out), it was a no-brainer who I would be cheering for in the Finals. Since the day KG was traded, I've wanted him to win this, it was why I wanted the Wolves to trade him in the first place, and where he goes, so goes my heart. I'm so happy for him, and Paul Pierce too, who has been a Celtic for ten years now, waiting much like KG did. What a game it was, 131-92. GO CELTICS!
